“The White Lotus” is an American satire comedy series created, written and directed by the talented Mike White. The series started filming in Hawaii in late 2020 and it’s first episode aired on HBO Max on July 11, 2021. The first season consists of six episodes and five of them are out right now. With the final episode scheduled to be released on August 15th, 2021. The first season is about several hotel guests who take a week’s vacation. But with each passing day, more dark and complex events start taking place putting the lives of the guests as well as the hotel staff in jeopardy.
Audience’s Response to the Series
The audience was very much impressed with the first season of the show. Because of its diverse cast of talented actors and actresses, the audience immediately fell in love with the show. Murray Bartlet, Alexandra Daddario, Jennifer Coolidge, Sydney Sweeney, Connie Britton, Jack Lacy are some of the actors and actresses involved in the first season. Mike White has done it again with the help of his dark and twisty mind. The series currently has a IMDb rating of 7.6/10 and 86% rotten tomatoes score on Rotten Tomatoes. The rating alone shows that the series is doing well and deserves another season.
Brace up for Season 2
Recently it was announced by HBO that “The White Lotus” has been renewed for a second season. But this time they will take the show somewhere else instead of Hawaii and will follow a new group of individuals at another White Lotus premises. Even though the final episode of the first season is not out yet. This news still got people excited for the future of the series. As of now, there are no potential details about the plot, cast, characters or locations. Because the news just came out recently, fans will have to wait for some time for the trailer or details about the show to emerge. With no details available about the release date fans will probably have to wait until summer 2022 for the next season.
