“That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bonds” anime film is finally moving forth as the trailer just dropped. On Thursday, the anime franchise released a new visual and a new trailer for the film. The film announced back in 2021. “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” is a Japanese fantasy light novel series.
What is the Novel About?
It began the serialization back in 2013 on an online website. Over Nineteen volumes dropped by the year 2021. The series also received Manga adaptation by Kodansha. And an anime adaptation by Eight Bit and it’s first season aired from October 2018 to March 2019. The second season dropped last year and ran from January to September. The second season feature 24 episodes and followed Rimuru and the Jura Tempest Federation.
After the anime series, an anime film drop in November 2022. The story revolves around a lonely salaryman Mikami Satoru working a job he is not happy with. But after he dies, he is reborn in another world. He finds himself turned into a Slime monster, with unique powers. However, things take a different turn as he adjusts to his new environment.
The Brains Behind
Fuse is the writer behind the whole novel series. Mitz Vah is responsible for the illustration in it. Furthermore, the new trailer also features a new character Hiro and apparently he will fight against Benimaru. Hiro will be an ogre survivor, who formerly believed Benimaru to be his idol. But the tables will turn as the story moves forth. The light novel series was the fifth best-selling title of 2018. Rimuru Tempest also won Best Protagonist on the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in 2019.
The official release date for the film is not yet released. It will premiere in November of this year in Japan.
