Spy x Family continues bringing in the hype each week
Spy x Family continues to be one of the biggest animes of the season. The very first episode managed to top Attack on Titan with high ratings on iMDB. The manga was created by Tatsuya Endo, and debuted in 2019. It currently has 9 volumes in total. The story about an ace spy named Loid, a deadly assassin named Yor, and a four-year-old child with the ability to read minds named Anya, quickly climbed its way into the hearts of readers and anime watchers. Five episodes have aired so far, but ahead of the sixth episode, we have some exciting new characters waiting to make their debut.
New Spy x Family Characters
The new characters who are coming soon will named Yuri and Fiona. Yuri Briar is the younger brother of Yor, and is a civil servant. However, just like his sister, he has a secret job. Yuri actually works for the State Security Service as a counterintelligence agent. He cares about his sister very deeply, but is completely oblivious that she is a deadly assassin who can topple governments. His job at the SSS makes him an enemy of Loid, aka Twilight, and Yuri has an additional personal vendetta against him.
Next up is Fiona. She is a spy for WISE, the same agency that Twilight works for, and her codename is Nightfall. Twilight himself was her mentor, and despite being strictly trained to overcome emotions, Fiona harbors romantic feelings for her mentor. She is naturally jealous of Yor, and wants to prove to Loid that she is a better wife for him and tries to go on missions with him. This, however, brings trouble for the Forger family.
Release Date
We are yet to see if they will make their appearance in the sixth episode. Episode 6 of Spy x Family will release on Crunchyroll on May 14, 2022.
