Doja Cat’s Instagram follower count has significantly decreased as a result of her criticism of Noah Schnapp for disclosing their private DMs.
The Stranger Things actress, 17, came under fire lately from the musician, 26, who called the move “snake s**t” when she requested him to match her up with his co-star Joseph Quinn, 29.
As soon as fans pointed out that Noah is a minor, she came under criticism. As a result, she has lost over 200k followers, while the kid star has acquired close to one million.
Doja Cat, 26, has earned nearly a MILLION Instagram followers since criticizing Noah Schnapp, 17, from Stranger Things, for sharing their direct messages.
According to UNILAD, Noah’s follower count increased from 24.25 million on Wednesday to 25.17 million on Monday, according to social media analytics firm Social Blade.
At the same time, Doja, whose true name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, saw hers fall from 24.34m to 24.14m.
On Wednesday, Noah used TikTok to share a now-deleted video showing private DMs he had with the Say So singer, in which she indicated interest in dating Eddie Munson from Stranger Things star Joseph.
Doja then responded to the Will Byers actor, calling him out for his dishonest behavior on Instagram Live on Thursday. However, she noted that she did not want her fans to overreact because he is “only a kid.”
Haha! She immediately came under fire from admirers who called attention to the fact that Noah is a minor, and it is now obvious that the young actor has prevailed.
She said at the outset that she had attempted to create a “three-minute TikTok, but it didn’t work,” so she decided to do an Instagram Live video instead, adding that she hoped someone was filming the event.
Doja stated in her ranting video that it was “socially clueless” of Noah to post their private chat online, but she also stated that young people “do dumb s**t” and “f**k up relationships with people.”
She said, “I’m just going to say something about the whole f***ing Noah Schnapp incident right now.
Doja said, “I think that… to be fair, let’s try to be relaxed about it.” She went on to say of the actor, who is only 17 years old, “Like Noah is a child, but, I don’t even know how old he is, but he can’t be over – like there’s no way he’s over 21.”

Doja continued by acknowledging that she, too, had her “fair share of f**k ups” and had learned from them before ranting that it was “like weasel s**t” of him to post their conversation online.

And I’m not suggesting that perfectly captures who he is; for example, I don’t picture Noah in that way. Perhaps he is whole like a snake. I didn’t view him that way, though,” she remarked.
I assumed he would be laid-back about it, but instead he went ahead and revealed facts that I didn’t feel comfortable with him disclosing, she said.
The DM sent by the New Yorker showed Doja requesting that Noah inform Joseph to hmu. Wait, does he have a girlfriend?
She stated, “Idk his IG or Twitter he doesn’t have a DM to slide into,” to which he replied, “LMAOO slide into his dms,” before he gave her Quinn’s username.
At this moment, neither Noah nor Joseph have given a public response to Doja Cat’s video.
Previously, the Kiss Me More singer praised Noa’s appearance after a Twitter user published a picture of the actor with the caption, “Doja look how fine Joseph Quinn is.”
The Grammy-winning musician retaliated, calling it “f***ing criminal.” She added the following tweet in May: “Joseph Quinn great as s**t.”
