Tropic Thunder was released in 2008 on August 13, 2008.  Robert Downey Jr. played the role of an Australian actor Kirk Lazarus who is shooting a Vietnam War movie. This character believes in method acting rather than action-based acting. So he gets “pigmentation alteration” surgery to put realism into a character of black sergeant he is going is to go to play. This movie is categorized among the best comedy films of the decade. The movie was directed by Ben Stiller. Ben Stiller is also written the story of the movie along with Justin Theroux.

What actually the issue is?

Recently, a tweeter user tweeted against the role Downey played in the movie. According to him, a white man is playing the role of a black man is not acceptable. Downey defended himself in Joe Rogan’s podcast, saying that he himself liked the role of Kirk Lazarus. He also added that a maximum of his black friends praised him for the work he has done in the movie.

Many tweeter users defended Downey and said that people need to understand the joke in the movie Tropic Thunder. Everyone supported him and said that there is no meaning of bringing up an illogical issue form a movie that was released a decade ago.

So whatever the conclusion will be, but almost every tweeter user and Downey fan are supporting him.
