Mindy Kaling is a well-established writer, producer, and successful actor in the Hollywood entertainment industry and is behind some very successful shows like Never Have I Ever, The Office, and The Mindy Project.
Her weight loss secret
Mindy Kaling has recently been a hot topic because of her weight loss and toned figure. However, in an interview, she shared the secret of her weight loss in something very simple. She said that she ate whatever she likes to eat as a restrictive diet doesn’t work for her, it’s just she ate less of it.
The reason she started to lose weight
Kaling said that she became aware of her weight after she welcomed her second child Spencer in September 2020. She had her first son during the pandemic and at that time she was like she won’t be going to be on camera as the studios were shut down so she was less concerned about her weight.
How she managed to get back into the shape
Mindly during her 20s had a negative relationship with fitness as she thought fitness would be something punishing, but now cardio has become one of her favorite forms of exercise. She also takes some time to walk every day.
Mindy Kaling now focuses on choosing a workout that she enjoys whether a walk or cardio as it gives her a feeling that she is working on her hobbies and not on weight loss.
Kaling and Novak’s complicated relationship
Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak poked fun at their complicated relationship during the 2022 Emmy Awards, blaming their lack of social life as the first that got them together.
The pair took to the stage to present the award for outstanding writing for a limited movie series or anthology, where she joked about how they were busy creating the episodes which limited their social life and ended them up getting into a relationship with their co-stars.
The two first met up on the set of The Office and ended up dating from 2004-2007 and still, both of them have a good relationship with each other even after their breakup.
