Lee Min Ho set to star in a Sci-fi drama
It’s Okay to Not Be Okay fame Oh Jung Se to star in a Sci-Fi drama with Gong Hyo Jin and Lee Min Ho. The drama is tentatively titled “Ask the Stars.”
The Sci-fi romantic comedy-drama revolves around a tourist and an astronaut who meet at a space station and how love blossoms eventually. There is massive excitement among fans as it’s written by Seo Sook Hyang, who has written man famous shows. Fans still praise him for his fabulous writing in “Don’t Dare to Dream” and “Pasta,” to name a few. He has been working on Ask the Stars for the last three years.
Oh Jung Se will be seen playing the role of space experiment expert Kang Kang Soo. He is a science genius from a wealthy background who works hard to research. It will be interesting seeing Jung playing such a different role.
As per sources, the space station’s production cost is around 40 billion KRW (approximately 33.8 million USD). The drama’s storyline has been one of the firsts in the Korean industry, which should be applauded.
No Official Announcement
A representative from Oh Jung Se’s agency claimed, “He has received an offer, and it is one of the projects he is reviewing.”
Oh Jung Se was recently in the news to join the star cast of Netflix’s Sweet Home 2. While Gong Hyo Jin was last seen in the 2019 drama ‘When the Camellia Blooms’ in the role of a single person player mother opposite Kang Ha Neul.
On the other side, Lee Min Ho was last seen in The King: Eternal Monarch. And now, his Appletv+ drama Pachinko is all set for release.
