Kim Seon Ho leaving “2 Days & 1 Night”
Popular South Korean actor Kim Seon Ho is confirmed to leave KBS2’ popular reality show 2 Days & 1 Night season 4, announced the show’s production team. And this huge decision is caused by a controversy, spreading like wildfire in social media.
The controversy
On 18th October a woman, Kim Seon Ho’s ex, anonymously claimed to be cheated by an actor. She wrote that she is going to reveal actor K’s “two faced” and “shameless” true nature. She did not mention the actor’ name but called him “A piece of trash without the slightest conscience or sense of guilt.
The woman accused the actor saying that he forced her to abort their baby with false promise of marriage. She accused the actor of forcing her to abort because he was sensitive when working on a project and because he was a star. The anonymous woman said that she is going through both psychological and physical trauma due to this. She also alleged of change in actor’s behaviour after she underwent abortion under his pressure.
“2 Days & 1 Night” production team’ reaction
Two days later of this, the Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha actor confirmed that he is the mentioned actor and also apologized for his act.
On the same day 2 Days & 1 Night’ production team announced that Kim Seon Ho will not be a part of the program anymore. They said in their statement that they have decided to remove him. Thinking about the discomfort of the viewers they will try their best to edit the actor out from those footage which are already filmed.
Other damages caused by the controversy
The controversy has caused Kim Seon Ho a lot of damage in his acting career. Brand’s which were endorsed by the actor, has started removing him from their official channel. When the rumor was first started, Domino’s Pizza, which was also endorsed by him, removed his photo from their official website and social media.
Meanwhile fans are requesting people to stop spreading false rumours and also promised legal action for defamation of Seon Ho.
