Jimmy Kimmel comments on the ongoing feud between Kanye West and Pete Davidson
On tonight’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jimmy comments on the latest Ye song (artist who was previously known as Kanye West) which mentions Pete Davidson.
Jimmy mocked Kanye’s name change and commented that “Ye” sounds more like a cheer and something a cheerleader would scream out while practice is going on.
Kanye West’s diss track for Pete Davidson
In his recent song, Kanye seems to be threatening the comedian who is currently dating his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. The lyrics of the song are as mentioned-
“God saved me from that crash, just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass.“
Ouch!
Kimmel is definitely amused by this random, poorly executed one-sided beef and comments that it reminds him of the incident where Tupac wrote a diss track for Andy Samberg and asked his live audience if they remembered that.
The news about the relationship between Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson has been making rounds for a while now and there have been a few times where Davidson has been a topic of discussion on the show.
Kimmel further added that after initially getting a song written about himself by Ariana Grande and now by West, he’s just one Taylor Swift away from the heartbreak trifecta.
The ongoing clash between Kanye West and Pete Davidson.\
Kim and Ye tied the knot in 2014 and have 4 children together. However, the former filed for divorce in February 2021. The reason stated for the divorce was “irreconcilable differences”.
Kim and Pete started dating after her divorce and there have been many times where the couple was seen spending time together and holding hands. However, it seems Ye isn’t taking this well and his dislike for Davidson is pretty evident in his latest diss track.
Ye is currently dating Julia Fox from Uncut Gems.
