Bennifer is now a legally married couple! Celebrity pair Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck got married at the A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas late on Saturday.
The news was confirmed by Lopez through her On the JLo fan newsletter, and shared photos, videos, and other little details from their magical night. Let’s read in detail.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s Marriage
Speaking on the marriage, Jennifer Lopez wrote, “Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient.” This was a reference to their last time getting engaged, 20 years ago. However, the couple called it quits before the wedding date, and Affleck moved on to Jennifer Garner, while Lopez had her own string of relationships and marriages.
Lopez continued that she and Affleck had flown to Vegas, and stood in line with four other couples to obtain the marriage license. She said that behind them were two men, and in front was a young couple who drove three hours from Victorville on their daughter’s second birthday. She even shared their license for the world to see.
Lopez added that they barely made it to the chapel by midnight, but the people there graciously stayed open late and even let them take pictures in a pink Cadillac.
Not a Glamorous Wedding
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck didn’t have a glamorous or over-the-top wedding, but for Lopez, it was the best wedding they could have possibly imagined. Ben brought a jacket from his closet and Lopez made do with a dress from an old movie. They exchanged rings in the little chapel itself.
Jennifer Lopez signed off her announcement by writing, “with love, Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck.”
