Regina King’s only son, Ian Alexander Jr. died on Jan 21
Oscar-winning actor, Regina King’s only son, Ian Alexander Jr. committed suicide and took his last breath on Friday Jan 21,2022. Just two days before on Jan. 19, he celebrated his 26th birthday.
Entertainment blog LoveBScott confirmed the news and added King’s words calling her son a “bright light.” She too requested with tears to leave their family alone as they are going through the deepest sorrow of demise of her only child. She too exclaimed they are devastated with the loss of her bright light who always cared and loved about others in his sphere.

The mother-son duo were closest
Ian Alexander Jr. was son of Regina King with her her former husband, Ian Alexander Sr. King. Record producer, Alexander Sr. were married almost for a decade with the Oscar-winning actor. But later their relationship get strained and they parted their ways in 2007.
