Goblin Slayer Season 2 : What should you expect? Dig in to find more details

Goblin slayer just completed its first season, and there’s no doubt that there’s going to be a second season.

Although highly controversial, Goblin Slayer was hurt by a few damaging reviews due to prominent contentious scenes involving goblins and women. The series has had a love-hate relationship with the fans. There’s no middle ground here, either people love it or utterly hate the series. Things look good for the fans though as Goblin slayer is becoming quite a franchise now, with more volumes of the manga releasing, a physical print of the manga and two prequel manga’s releasing in quite a short period. This sets the premise for the second season, which probably releases in 2021.

Season One concluded with Goblin Slayer overcoming the Goblin Warlord and protected the town from complete obliteration. The season finale of Goblin Slayer ended with a bang as the Priestess, and Goblin Slayer magnificently protected his and Cow Girl’s home. We also saw a half of Goblin Slayer’s face, which revealed two scars close to his chin. After the party and a monologue, Goblin Slayer was seen thumping something, and after that, the frame was shown. This settles that there are plans for Goblin Slayer Season 2.

Goblin Slayer Season 2 will follow the storyline from manga volumes 3,4 and 5. The next season is supposed to feature the mysterious Dark Elf as the main antagonist of the next season. Which makes Orology, the opposite of Dark Elf. Those who have read the manga and light novels may already know a thing or two about this. Festival arc may well be the central plot of the whole of season two, and from the looks of the manga, it would be quite exciting to watch.

Hopefully, the second season will feature 24 episodes. The story could conceivably adapt Volume 6 and 7 rather than to release Goblin Slayer Season 3. Anime viewers will have to wait until the Goblin Slayer Season 2 release date to find out, how the series pans out. Let’s hope that the series doesn’t make us wait too long!
