Oprah Winfrey who is a best friend of Gayle King came to her defence on Friday. Oprah explained that CBS This Morning host has received “death threats” after her viral interview with former Woman National Basketball Association (WNBA) player Lisa Leslie. Oprah also said, “She (Gayle King) is not doing well.” and continued saying in an interview with Hoda and Jenna that King has to carry security because she is getting lots of death threats and she is feeling very much attacked.
I think mentioning it as part of his legacy is fair game, but I still don't understand why people didn't have this energy when he was alive and something could have been done, if they're still upset about the incident. Asking a grieving friend about it is an odd choice. https://t.co/5dhhadtmkO
