Kate Middleton recently had an adorable moment with a little girl. On Thursday, while meeting the girl at The King’s Cup regatta, Kate received a deep bow from the royal fan.

The little girl had the task of handing Kate Middleton a bouquet of flowers at her charity sailing race.
The girl looked lovely in an ice cream cone-printed dress and red sandals. Completing her look was the epic unicorn face paint, making her royal gesture all the more endearing. Prince William was also present.
The duchess clearly seemed pleased by the graceful greeting. Kate was still in her sailing apparel when she crouched down and smiled at her loyal fan.
The event marks the couple’s first appearance since returning from their family vacation in Mustique. The family was there to celebrate Prince George‘s 6th birthday. Both Kate and William were sporting tans from their tropical getaway.
How does one greet a royal?
As per the royals’ official website, when greeting a member of the royal family, men are recommended to bow from the neck. Women, however, are advised to curtsy. A simple handshake is also enough. However, this little well-wisher took the greetings to great heights when she met the Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge last week.
Meanwhile, Kate also shared some precious moments with her own children at the regatta.
Both Prince George, 6, and Princess Charlotte, 4, were present at the charity sailing race. They supported Kate and William as they competed against each other.
The little munchkins watched the tournament with Kate’s father, Michael Middleton. The younger one, Prince Louis was also present on the Isle of Wight for the event. It is likely he was under the care of the family’s trusted nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo.
After the competition, Charlotte had a mischievous moment as she stuck her tongue out at the crowd. Luckily, Kate jumped into mom mode, cutting down her daughter’s amusing behavior short.
