SHINee’s Minho is Set to Join the New Horror Thriller Drama ‘Goosebumps’

The television drama will be 8 episodes long

Official announcement! Popular K-pop band SHINee’s rapper Minho is about to star in a television drama!

The news came just a few hours ago from SM Entertainment that Minho will be showing up in the Kakao drama Goosebumps.

Goosebumps is the official name for the drama, and it will be 8 episodes long. The genres will be horror and drama and is set in the background of everyday life. The drama will be launched by directer Jung Bum Shik who had previouslh released K-Horror shows like Gidam and  Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum. 

In addition it Minho, popular South Korean actress Choi Ji Woo was also set to star in the same sequence, but now it’s stated that she will appear in a unique episode. Both Minho Ji Woo had previously starred together in 2017’s The World’s Most Beautiful Goodbye (literal title), where they played siblings whose mother got diagnosed with cancer. It had 4 episodes and was a huge success. Ji Woo was away from acting for four years, so fans are really excited for her next role.

Minho’s role is speculated to be of Hoon, an innocent young man with a curious mind. Hoon soon falls in love, but later receives a letter. After that, he gets caught in numerous mysterious events, and the whoever sent the letter is believed to be the cause.

Goosebumps is currently being filmed and will premiere either in late 2021 or early 2022.

Meanwhile, Minho is done filming Yumi’s Cells, which will premier on September 17 at 10:50 p.m. KST and the subtitled version will soon be available on Viki.
