We have some exciting Pokemon Go news! The Pokemon Go Fest 2022, the game’s largest annual event is near. It is that event where trainers get to take part in in-person activities from the comfort of their homes. And of course, new Legendary Pokemon are released. But this year, there is an additional thing to look forward to. The game is debuting Shiny Pokemon. New entrants include Shaymin, the Legendary Shinnoh-region Pokemon and Axew, the Shiny Dragon-type from the Unova region. Read on to know about the schedules so that you won’t miss out on anything.
The Pokemon Go Fest Time Schedule
This year’s Pokemon Go Fest takes place over two days. Day one starts on Saturday, June 4 and takes place from 10 am local time to 6 pm local time. Day two will be on Sunday, and follows the same time schedule. But that’s not the end of it. A special one-day finale event is taking place on Saturday, August 27, and you will get to see a new Special Research Story. Trainers who had purchased the ticket for Go Fest 2022 will be receiving a ticket for the final event with no extra charges. Those who haven’t bought it will be able to purchase it at a later date for $10.99.
How to get Shaymin and Axel
Let’s go back to the stars of the show. First up is Axew. To get Shiny Axew, you will need to keep an eye out on the wild on both days. Whenever the Plains habitat appear, trainers will get a chance to grab this one. As for Shaymin, this Pokemon can be obtained only on Day one. Finish the Research Story, and you will be able to catch Land Forme Shaymin.
