Former 1 Direction band member Zayn Malik has finally released the video for ‘Flames’ on the 30th of January 2020.

The video has been directed by Frank Borin and Ivanna Borin. However, the concept behind the video was entirely Zayn’s idea. The music video does not feature Zayn Malik, yet all the fans are loving it.
The music video focuses on a person covered entirely in black. Even his face is hidden by a black hoodie. Initially, it was thought the person will be Zayn himself but this is not so. The main character who is dressed in a black outfit is surrounded by several people wearing white.
In the video, we can witness the person burning up in flames matching with the lyrics of the song. It is believed that Zayn has let his emotions burst through this song regarding his decision to quit the world famous boy-band One Direction.
In order to be free and stand out from the rest is what this video conveys. There have been several appreciations and a series of positive comments on social media by his fans.
Someone wrote that Zayn is such a versatile singer and a genius king. While another fan wrote that they don’t mind if the singer is being featured in the video or not. But the video is good and creative. The idea matters more than the face.
