Wind River is going forward with a sequel
Fans extremely excited for a newer version of Wind River since it got released in 2017. So, get ready for the sequel as the reports suggest that the official sequel is on the way for all new experience of adventure and fun on the big screen!
On Wednesday, Castle Rock Entertainment finally announces the upcoming plans for Wind River: The Next Chapter. The new chapter is reported to start the production from January with the most popular director Kari Skogland. What will more excite you is Martin Sensmeier who will be reprising his role as Chip Hanson.
What’s new in the plot?
As much was remain unsolved in the previous film, this version is going to unpuzzle that this time. Many murders which had no clue will get unsolved. The FBI runs into Hanson for help, who happens to be the newly created tracker for the United States. Fish & Game becomes involved in a desperate and dangerous battle between law enforcement, vigilantes and the reservation he calls home.
The unbeatable script is written by the collaboration of Patrick Massett & John Zinman. The sequel will be produced by Matthew George for Castle Rock Entertainment and Acacia Filmed Entertainment including Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee for Thunder Road Pictures. Not forgetting the Executive producers who are Rob Reiner, Michele Reiner, Derrick Rossi, Jonathan Fuhrman, Courtney Shepard and Hernan Narea.
however, the original Wind River featured Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen. The plot was even more interesting as it followed a veteran hunter and a rookie FBI agent who investigated a murder of a young woman on the Wyoming Native American reservation known as Wind River.
Other costars included Jon Bernthal, Graham Greene, Kelsey Asbille, Gil Birmingham, Julia Jones, and Teo Briones.
