The final episode of season five of Peaky Blinders amazed its fans. In that last episode, there was a hint which gave a solid idea of where Tommy Shelby and the gang are going with season six. The season six is awaited by fans, and they want to know when they are getting the sixth season for the show. Well, their question has been answered finally.
The release date of the show is confirmed by the director of Peaky Blinders. He said that currently, he has no idea when it will be released. He also stated that it might get released in 2021 as the shooting started late in 2019.
Peaky Blinders Season 5 left us with the biggest cliffhanger in the show’s history. Tommy Shelby approaches the camera screaming at his dead wife and dead horse with a gun at his hand. All we can assume is that Tommy has maybe completely lost his mind at this point.
Creator Steven Knight has confirmed that the Peaky Blinders will be back for season 6, and probably season 7, given the fact that BBC registered a huge bump in ratings.
WHAT WE CAN EXPECT FROM SEASON 6?
The ending of season 5 was quite unclear. What is going on in Tommy’s head? Who did this to him? Tommy is mentally broken, but he will not shoot himself. But, it will be interesting to see what sort of state he’s going to be in.
The other big question surrounding the series finale is, who betrayed Tommy Shelby? It might be Special Branch or the Chinese Oswald. The director of the series says there’s actually enough in the episode for fans to work out who exactly betrayed Tommy. Did you catch the miscreant yet?
