To fans dismay, Blake will not be a part of the reboot. The actress confirmed at the premiere of her new movie, The Rhythm section while chatting with the star. She was queried about her involvement with the show to which she responded that she isn’t involved in the production of the CW show.

She affirmed the same to E! News that any question related to the series has to be directed to the creators since she isn’t involved with the show in any shape and form.

This might be disappointing for the ardent views of the show, however, it is not surprising as Josh Schwartz, producer of the show, had confirmed that the reboot show aims to focus on a whole new set of characters. The hopes had rekindled when he shared that the creative reached out to the original team to update them about the show and would have loved them to be involved if they want to be.
