Rebecca Rittenhouse, The Mindy Project star, confesses Mindy Kaling to be “the best boss” one could ever have. In an interview with People, Rittenhouse revealed how much she enjoyed working with her. Rebecca loved working with Mindy so much that she signed Mindy’s upcoming project, ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral,’ without even reading the script.

Rebecca confessed that Mindy had mentioned to her about the new project while they were wrapping the final season of The Mindy Project. She had asked Rebecca if she was interested in joining Mindy for ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ to which Rebecca had readily agreed, even though she knew that she wouldn’t be able to read the script for few months. Rebecca decided to this because it was an iconic title which would be led by her ‘best boss’ Mindy Kaling.
Rebecca also said she loved working with her co-star Mindy because she is a combination of funny as well as intelligent. She feels that Mindy is versatile as a person. Mindy is not only a performer but also a producer and a writer. While she works with will focus in her area, she is equally collaborative.
Rittenhouse said that Mindy is the best boss one could ever wish to have to. Just like her character in The Mindy Project, she is bubbly and a happy-go-lucky person. Rebecca said that Mindy is such a force, which can be intimidating to most of the people.
The next collaboration of the duo will now be seen in the remake of the romantic film, ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral.’ It has been adapted as a 10-part series for Hulu. The release date for the show was chosen as 31st July 2019. Let us see if the series succeeds in impressing the audience the same way as the movie did.
