White Lotus Season 2 gets bigger with the addition of new cast members!
Mike White’s HBO dark comedy series ‘White Lotus‘ is returning back with season two. For its sophomore season, many new actors actors are added to make the show more crispy. The HBO team has enlisted F. Murray Abraham, Adam DiMarco, Tom Hollander and Haley Lu Richardson as series regulars.
New members in the Crew
The new members will join the previously announced cast members Michael Imperioli and Aubrey Plaza in season two. The upcoming season will leave Hawaii behind and be set at a new White Lotus hotel property. Many sources claim ‘White Lotus’ season two to be set in Italy but HBO has declined all the comments about Italy setting.
Prominent Cast
The notable actor, Abraham, who is appreciated for realistic acting will play the role of Bert Di Grasso, an aged man traveling with his son and grandson. Some of his hits shows are The Grand Budapest Hotel, Apple’s Mythic Quest, Homeland and many more.
Famed Netflix’s The Order and Syfy’s The Magicians actor DiMarco is set as Albie Di Grasso, a college student who is on trip with his father portrayed by Imperioli and grandfather. To be obvious, Imperioli plays the role of Dominic Di Grasso, Albie’s father and Bert’s son.
Hollander is characterizes as Quentin, an English expat who is on vacation with his friends and his nephew. The actor is well known for his roles in The King’s Man, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End Pride & Prejudice and Gosford Park .
The Edge of Seventeen, Five Feet Apart and Unpregnant actress Richardson will be seen as Portia, a young woman traveling with her boss. In addition to this, Plaza is casted as Harper Spiller, a woman on holiday with her husband and friends.
White is still on the hot seat as writer, director and exec producer. David Bernad and Mark Kamine also serves as exec produce.
Season 1 of the show premiered on July 11 2021, and concluded on August 15 2021, the finale episode had left the viewers puzzled. Season 2 is looking to clarify all the doubts and answer all the questions that were left unattended in season 1.
