The new spinoff series from its creator Michael Hirst, Valhalla is gonna be back with a sequel. Well yes, you’ll be happy to know that the Vikings saga is not yet over. Netflix has announced the return of the historical drama on the streaming service.

When will it release? 

Presently, there’s no official announcement about the release date of the show. However, it is expected to land on the screens in 2021 Or early 2022. And as per the present reports there will be 24 new episodes of Valhalla. 

Who all will be there in the cast? 

Well, there no revelation about the cast yet. The cast will probably be disclosed one month before the air date of the show. However, the main characters are expected to return back. For instance, Leif Erikson, Freydis, Harald Harada and the Norman King William the Conqueror. In addition, we even know that the new series will be set in future. It’ll be around 100 years after the end of Vikings. So there’s hardly any chance for the previous cast to return back. However, if flashbacks happen in the show, some of them are likely to return. 

What is going to happen in Vikings: Valhalla? 

Valhalla will continue from 100 years after season 6 of Vikings concluded. The show will be following Vikings Leif Erikson, Freydis, Harald Harada and the Norman King William the Conqueror. And there’s a lot more story that will be showed in Valhalla, like Harald Harada’s, William etc. Fans are really excited about the show and are eagerly waiting for its release. But they will have to wait for it. Talking about the trailer. There’s no trailer for the show yet. However, it is expected to release sometime just before the shows air.
