Westworld is an American science fiction western television series. It is created by Lisa Joy and Jonathon Nolan. They are also the executive producers of the show along with J.J. Abrams, Jerry Weintraub and Bryan Burk. The series is being produced by HBO and is based on the 1973 movie “Westworld.”

Some of it also based on the sequel “Futureworld.” The first season, consisting of ten episodes, released on 2nd October 2016. The second season also consisted of ten episodes and premiered on 22nd April 2018. The series is extremely successful and the first season is the most watched HBO show of all time. Critics praised its acting, visuals and storyline.

Westworld season 3 release date
Westworld is being renewed for a third season and it will be released on 15th of March 2020. This time the season will have only eight episodes as opposed to the regular ten episodes. Each episode will be broadcasted weekly on Sundays, so stay tuned.

Westworld season 3 plot
The story takes place in a fictional wild west theme amusement park which has advanced technology. It is populated by Android hosts who are designed in particular manner so that they don’t harm humans. The park makes their customer or guests enjoy their craziest dreams.

The third season will take place right after the events of the second season. Dolores took the cores of some Android hosts and has escaped from the park. She resides in neo Los Angeles and with the help of Caleb she learns about the treatment artificial beings get in real world. At the same time Mavie is in a fascist Italy world war 2 themed part of Delos park.
