Netflix and Reel Media’s Virgin River got successful and is loved among the audience. It is a romantic drama series based on Robyn Carr’s novel series of the same name. Its first season premiered on Netflix on 6th December 2019. Shortly after it was announced that Virgin River will be renewed for a second season.
What is Virgin River about?
The show is centered around Melinda “Mel” Monroe who leaves LA and moves to a small Californian town Virgin River to start a fresh life. She works as a midwife and nurse in the town. Working there and starting her life anew proves to be difficult for her. Withdrawing from her past is not easy and she must learn to compose herself before she can make Virgin River her home.
Fortunately for fans of the series, Netflix had already announced that Virgin River will be back with its second season. Since the first had ten episodes in its run time, the second season will also have ten episodes.
When is season 2 coming?
As for now no release date has been disclosed. But it can be assumed that Virgin River’s second season will be released around November or December this year. The fans of the show are very much excited and agitated for the new season. They have been showing their fretfulness through various social media handles especially Twitter, that’s how much the audience loved the first season.
