Vikings’ Alexander Ludwig thanks his parents in a heartwarming Instagram post marking the actor’s return to Romania after 14 years. The Viking Star, while taking a selfie in his hotel room, paused for a while to remember the last time he was in Romania to shoot one of his major films, The Seeker: The Dark is Rising.

He stated that Sharlene moved her whole life to support his dream as his filmed for The Seeker: The Dark is Rising at the age of 13.
Alexander revealed that his father (Harald Ludwig) and his mother would take turns supervising him on set. Reminding himself how lucky he was to have his parents’ support growing up, Alexander confessed that he loves them and that he is really grateful to them.
“So much has changed since then but the country is just as beautiful as I remember,” Alexander added. “Wish you guys were here.”
Alexander ended the caption promising that he would post a picture of them when they were in Romania 14 years ago. But mentioned, “I don’t have it with me so it’ll have to wait. ❤️ I hope everyone’s having an awesome day!”
