The Vampire Diaries, a book written by L.J. Smith was translated into an American, horror teen series that had its first premiere in 2009 and covered the entire series in 8 seasons, ending in 2017. Despite ending 3 years back, the show was seen with the disappointed eyes when the ending of some characters didn’t seem justified to the fans, either for the wrong image that is portrayed to those characters or due to unjustified honor that they deserved.

Not only was she a cruel and traumatic character, she always ensured her family was safe. The ending didn’t seem justified to her suffering when she always had to face the tormenting witches and yet, her husband was killed. She was a more deserving character.
2. Elizabeth “Liz” Forbes
Sheriff Forbes, who dies in the series wasn’t liked by her fans. She had a negative role to play in the former seasons, however, her nature to fight fearlessly was acknowledged by her fans. Caroline, who was in bad terms with Liz, also came in good terms with her due to the good nature of the character.
The character was diagnosed with cancer and her life ended with her suffering a lot in the last few months.
3.Stefan Salvator
Died a day after getting married while saving Mystic Falls. Fans wanted more justice to the character due to his good actions that proved useful to many throughout the show.
4.Catherine Pierce
One of the most humane characters, who was revived twice to destroy the city. Her image was restricted to someone who destroyed the city and nothing more.
5. L”Enzo” St. John
The character whose origin story couldn’t be revealed due to the character’s early death. The sad part was that not only did he lose his family but also Maggie and Lily.
6.Tyler Lockwood
The character that was able to escape the shambles of great vampires, escaping the wrath of dearth, was the character played by Tyler. Such a character falling for a trap set by Damon and dying seemed tough to believe in.
7. Josette “Jo” Laughlin
The character that was the shortest-played in the series had a cruel death while she was pregnant. She made an appearance only once after that.
8.Oliva Parker
The character came to an end while she was in a relationship with Tyler and was taken off higher. Her partner was the one who didn’t save, which was the sad part.
9.Lexi Branson
The character having a dl experience in her relationships with other characters. She was a short-lived yet a loved character by her fans.
10. Jenna Sommers
Her death was at a time when she came to know about the supernatural forces’ occurrence.
