While fans were disappointed when the news of their exit was doing the rounds, however, the CW boss has assured fans that they won’t be killed off in the upcoming episodes. In the course of the fourth season, both of them appeared less which made fans speculate that they might be not coming back in the fifth season after all. The two have played crucial roles over time and their sudden exit did come as a shock but now it seems like there might be a change of plans.
