The fans of GoT bid adieu to their favorite show some time back. It was a painful day. Well, after an extensive, long wait, the trailer for Jason Momoa’s new show has dropped, and it looks like the perfect story to those post-Westeros blues.
The creator of Peaky Blinders – Steven Knight, returns with an interesting tale: ‘See’.
See is set in the near future after a deadly virus wiped out scores of the human population. Those who did emerge from devastation were left blind.
Jason Momoa stars as hulking leader Baba Voss, the father of twins miraculously born with the ability to see.
Voss is the head of his tribe. He is tasked with safeguarding not only them but his two young children from the clutches of a powerful queen who wants them dead.
The officially released synopsis reads: “In the far future, a virus has decimated humankind. Those who survived emerged blind.”
Also, Alfre Woodard (Captain America: Civil War) stars as Paris, Baba Voss’ spiritual leader.
Moreover, the series is written by Knight and directed by Of I Am Legend Hunger Games: Catching Fire fame Francis Lawrence. According to reports, the cast and crew consist of people who are blind or have low vision.
Where and When will See release?
See will be available on Apple‘s new streaming service, Apple TV Plus, set to launch later this year.
