The news of the return of Thor 4 ‘Love and Thunder’ has taken marvel fans to the next level of excitement. The film is going to hit the theatre on 5th November 2021. The storyline of the movie is the same as that of an existing comic’s(The Mightly Thor) storyline.
Many actors like Kat Dennings and Jeff Goldblum wants a part in this movie. A recently added name on that list is none other than Idris Elba ( aka Heimdall). However, it’s interesting that Elba is on that list because he has publicly criticized his time working with Marvel as “torture.”
Is Heimdall returning?
In a recent interview with ABC Idris Elba when asked about coming back to Marvel revealed his feelings. He said, of course, Heimdall is an essential part of the god family so he could be alive. The Heimdall character goes way back in Thor mythology and, there might be an interesting way to bring him back. Although it’s good to know that Heimdall wants to come back, his chances are very bleak. After the brutal killing of Heimdall by Thanos at the Bifrost gate when he sends Hulk to the Earth. It would not be a piece of cake to bring him back to life.

The director of the film is Taika Waititi. He is also the director of Thor Ragnarok.
Another important fact is the return of Natalie Portman as Jane Foster. Natalie is part of Thor franchise since the first movie but was not present in Thor Ragnarok. The character of Natalie is of Jane Foster but with a female Thor twist.
Thor’s movie is unimaginable without Chris Hemsworth. So our hero is back but with a lot of suspense. There is a lot of argument about the character of Thor. After the appearance of Fat Thor In Avengers Endgame, therefore it would be interesting to see how Chris returns.
