The Weeknd has refused to the news that he was having any feud with Usher related to his song, Climax. Back in April the singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye said that he got infuriated when he heard Usher’s song for the very first time in 2012. After hearing the song he uttered to himself that was a song by The Weeknd and not him.

In one of his previous interviews, Weeknd said that he got really very much flattered, he added that he also knew that he was doing right but ultimately he also got really angry about it. After Tesfaye commented about it, Usher launched a campaign called #climaxchallenge on social media, in which he was heard singing along with the track. And all this happen before Tesfaye’s initial comment out of anger was took out of context by everyone.
Even in his very recent new interview Tesfaye has said that he doesn’t have any feuds with Usher. He even revealed that he also called him to apologize for how everyone misinterpreted his comments. He didn’t intend to say the things that people reconstructed from his comments. And he wasn’t saying anything bad for Usher.

Moreover, in his interview he also talked about the misogyny in his previous song’s lyrics and that he’s planning to come up with a full album for a female artist.
He said that he’s a writer and sometimes he tends to write songs that aren’t in his head and forgets that he’s writing for someone else and ultimately ends up singing it by himself.
