The Walking Dead is a post-apocalyptic horror television series. It’s based on the comic book series by Robert Kirkman ( An American comic book writer, best known for, the walking dead, Invincible and Oblivion Song. He is one of the 5 partners of image comic ), Tonny Moore ( An American comic book artist, he is well known for walking dead) and Charles Adlard ( British comic book writer ). The series has been developed by Frank Darabont.
The series started in 2010, with season 1. The series consists of 9 seasons, and the tenth installment would hit the screens on 6th October 2019. Season 9 dealt with post Negan’s downfall phase. Alpha had acquired large horde of walkers. Danai Gurira who played the role of Michonne would discontinue after season 10.
The series might have more installments. Makers have set a target of 12 seasons, provided fans love the series. Makers are interested in continuing the series for ten more years. According to fans, walking dead is a phenomenal series. It has never failed to entertain. The series is so captivating, that is impossible to abandon it in between. Anybody who has started watching it has watched all the episodes.
When it comes to reviews walking dead has done a great job. The first six seasons and the ninth season has received a positive review from critics. The ninth season got a rating of 91% at rotten tomatoes. The other season received mixed reviews.
The show’s twitter page has announced the addition of actor Kevin Carroll. The show has confirmed the casting of comic book character Dante. Some first look photographs have been released as well. The series has been a roller coaster ride. Fans are pretty excited to know what new things would unroll in season 10.
