It’s pouring awards for the Jane Campion’s movie The Power Of The Dog. Well yes, London Critics’ Circle Film Award has been announced recently and it was Campion’s work that was honoured by the awards. Certainly just not that but it got three more awards for the same movie this year in different category.

UK’s longest critics panel with 180 members of London Critics’ Circle Film Awards announced its film of the year to The Power Of The Dog for the year 2021. Further, it was surely Jane Campion’s hard work for the film that made it honourable for the UK award. Also, it was after the 1994 that the Campion’s movie got the highest honour at the London Critics’ Circle film awards. It was earlier given to The Piano of Jane Campion in 1994 at the Critics’ Circle film award.

Also, Jane Campion was lucky enough to get the Director of the year award for the same movie. Evidently, the Campion’s novel based movie was a sensation at the Critics’ Circle film award.

The London Critics’ Circle Film award gave two more awards to the characters of the film with a total reaching to four awards. Benedict Cumberbatch who played Phin Burbank in the Campion’s movie was awarded the Actor of the year for the movie.

Well, Kodi Smit-McPhee bagged the Supporting Actor of the year award for the movie for playing the role of Peter. Not to miss, Drive My Car, the Japanese drama won the Foreign Language Film Of The Year. The Japanese drama also won the Screenwriter Of The Year award at the Critics’ Circle film awards.
