The Last Of Us Releases First-ever Footage, Shows Intense Interaction Between Joel and Ellie

The TV adaptation of the iconic game will be the first of many adaptations

HBO has managed to get the attention of gamers and non-gamers alike, with new footage from the highly-anticipated The Last Of Us, starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. Many of the other upcoming series were shown, before shining the spotlight on The Last of Us. 2023 is going to be a crazy year. Let’s read in detail below.

The teaser showed Joel and Ellie making their way through an icy bridge, most likely after joining forces for the first time ever when the world falls to its knees due to the Cordyceps outbreak. We also see a brief shot of Joel carrying his daughter Sarah, while trying to escape the chaos that engulfed their city the day the outbreak took place. Then we see Joel and Ellie face-to-face, talking about their losses. Aside from Pascal and Ramsey, the brief trailer also showed Nick Offerman, who plays Bill in the series.

From the first look, The Last of Us looks seriously impressive. Seeing how HBO has worked closely with creator Neil Druckmann, the series will be faithful for the major part and will contain some dark and emotional scenes. Gamers are already aware of the deaths, but will likely get their hearts broken a second time.
