It will be renamed ‘The Haunting of Bly Manor’
The Haunting of Hill might just be the best horror series to come out in recent years. And soon enough, we can expect the second season of the series and you can be sure that the makers will amp up the horror element. We will be heading to a new location with this one- Bly Manor.
The Haunting of Hill House Season 2 will not be based on the Train Family anymore. The makers will be taking an anthology approach for the show and lead showrunner Mike Flanagan will be adapting the famous ghost story, The Turn of the Screw by Henry James, which came out in 1898. Read on to find out what else to expect.
When will it be releasing?
One thing we know for sure is that The Haunting of Bly Manor’ will be releasing this year itself. When exactly is what we don’t know. Season one came out in October, and fans are expecting season two to come out on Netflix during the same time – perhaps even on Halloween.
What we know for certain is that the series has wrapped up production, as Mike Flanagan has congratulated the cast and crew in a tweet. He later informed that post production for the series has not been impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic writing, “we’re still on schedule, we wrapped before the shutdown and post-production has carried on from home.”
He also added that the show has been shaping up wonderfully and released dates are not going to be affected. Netflix will be announcing the date as soon as they’re ready.
If it releases soon enough, we will have something to keep ourselves entertained while self-isolating!
