NBC’s ‘THE COURTSHIP’ will bring the first Black Princess
THE COURTSHIP is like a fairy tale focusing on True love and Regency Romance. The reality will roll as same as other dating shows but with a twist. In addition, the setting of the show will shoot in old fashioned style with royal twist like it takes viewers to the time of Aristocratic England of 1800s when age of Regency Romance prevailed.
Moreover, the program’s concept is mainly set up in more like old school type of love who believe in true love. Furthermore, 16 men from different parts of the world will compete in a throat cut competition to win princess’ heart, Nicole Remy. According to schedule, the much awaited romantic yet royal reality show will premiere on March 6,2022 at NBC TV.
About the Show
The castle setting royal dating show of Rick Edwards is a social experiment in romance as per the producer. The show focuses on a black princess, Nicole Remy, who is in search of a eligible prince. To make the dream come true, many suitors in 1800’s costume from all over the world counting Daniel Bochicchio from Staten Island, NY; Point Pleasant, NJ’s Giuseppe Castronovo; Lincoln Chapman of Nashville, TN and many more will stand against each other.
In addition, they will gather to prove their stand as more compatible duke under the supervision of Princess’ court. The court comprises of her father Claude, her mother Claire, her sister Danie, and best friend Tessa. Moreover, during the process, they have to gain her trust and recognize themselves as true love. The one who wins her heart will be titled as ‘Duke’. With a beautiful castle on the countryside on the backdrop of rolling hills will give a fairy tale outline to the show.
Moreover, the show will run like the old times where handwritten love letters are the essence. Several defined elements of the era including archery, carriage rides, boat rides will glorify the ‘Regency Romance’ concept.
