To promote her upcoming album ‘Lover’, Taylor Swift packed the Central Park on Thursday, August 22, 2019. It was a three-song performance on Good Morning America show. The album will be Taylor’s seventh album which is scheduled to release on 23rd August 2019.
Fans had started to line up for the concert performance at night. The American singer performed the first two songs of album- “Me” and “You Need To Calm Down”. She also performed her hit, “Shake It Off” leaving all the ‘Swifties’ delighted.
Her outfit aligned with the name of her upcoming album ‘Lover’. She wore a full pink outfit for the gig. She looked aesthetic indeed. The pink and purple sequin shorts along with black-heeled boots added to her looks. Not only Taylor’s outfit, but even the stage was also decked with pastel pink flowers.
The 29-year old was all smiles and energetic while performing. She thanked the huge audience who supported her. Among her supporters, one was Tiffany Haddish, who was seen in the audience.
The pop star’s performance was scheduled for 22 August 2019 but the fans had started to line up at the night before. Seeing this, Taylor’s father and his management team ordered 30 pizzas and water bottles for all the fans standing in queues from night to see her perform.
While talking to Robin Roberts, Swift said, “Something very special to me about this album is it’s the first one that I will own”, about Lover.
Swift also revealed that she will be re-recording all masters of her earlier work. She will be doing this to circumvent a deal by Big Machine and Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings, her former label, which now holds the rights to her earlier recordings.
“Lover” will be having 18 songs in total. It is all set to release on the 23rd of August 2019.
