The most awaited Suicide Squad game is pushed back again to release in 2023. Warner Bros is delaying most of the projects with Suicide Squad video game. The difficulties faced due to pandemic situations is stated as the prime reason behind it.
The Suicide Squad game is based on the Suicide Squad comic books. Moreover, for Warner Media, the video game is one of the upcoming major game project. The gameplay trailer released in December after consecutive delaying made fans curious. However, the hopes got down with the announcement of its delay until 2023.
Reason of delay
With the release of story trailers for ‘Suicide Squad : Kill the Justice League’ and ‘Gotham Knights’ in DC FanDome 2021, the game has received lots of appreciations. Moreover, the trailer hit the top on trending list. The aspiration of fans was gazing into 2022 for launch. Yet the delay of major 2021 projects like Harry Potter, Batman and a LEGO version of Star Wars are creating development issues for further projects.

Suicide Squad game is build upon a crew of original comic book series ‘Suicide Squad’. The background setting is on antiheroes fighting against brainwashed superheroes. Moreover, ‘Suicide Squad : Kill the Justice League’ is a single-player or a co-op multiplayer game.
In the game, players will work together representing different members of the Suicide Squad and fight corrupted Justice League, including evil Superman. The game will run on with characters of Harley Quinn, King Shark, Deadshot and Captain Boomerang. In addition to this, each character has some special qualities. With level up in game, players can customize extra weapons and abilities.
