The feature film-sized conclusion is ready to hit Netflix this July
Stranger Things season 4 volume 2 is on the horizon, and fans are excited. And now, a trailer has been released, teasing what’s in store for the teenage heroes and adults in Hawkins. The upcoming season is also famous for having an episode longer than two hours, the size of a feature film. Let’s read on to find how far the story has progressed in season 4.
Stranger Things – So Far
One thing we got to see as season 4 volume 1 of Stranger Things was that the gang was split. Joyce (Winona Ryder) has gone to Russia with Murray (Brett Gelman) to rescue Hopper (David Harbour). Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) has met Dr. Brenner (Matthew Modine) once again, while the rest of the gang are split between Hawkins and California. Their new enemy, Vecna, is claiming lives, and Max (Sadie Sink) almost becomes one of them. However, Vecna is not done choosing targets.
By the end of volume 1, we see that Hopper has been rescued, Nancy (Natalia Dyer) is Vecna’s new target, and Eleven has discovered that Number 1 (Jamie Campbell Bower) is Vecna.
Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 Trailer
The new trailer is just as chilling, giving only a mild tease of what’s to come. It’s accompanied by a remixed version of Kate Bush’s “Running Up The Hill”, a song that has quickly seen a resurgence after it saved Max from Vecna.
We are aware that the series will end with season 5, so season 4 volume 2 can end with a massive cliffhanger. If the gang does manage to defeat Vecna, they will tease the big bad that will be the final obstacle between them and the lives of everyone in Hawkins. The cast has also teased serious casualties in this part.
Stranger Things season 4 volume 2 arrives on Netflix on July 1.
