It’s difficult to talk without venturing into spoiler territory, but let’s try. It is clear that some may have found the branching narrative a bit annoying, and feel some characters are being underused. But after seeing this, you will realize that the way the Duffer brothers set out the Stranger Things season 4 story has an extremely satisfying ending. The Mike, Will, Jonathan, and Argyle story was lacking compared to that of the others, but it gets corrected by a great deal here. Will, in particular, is going to have some very intense scenes, and Noah Schnapp continues to show that he’s a valuable asset to Hollywood.

We will be back to jumping between Hawkins, California, Russia, and the Upside Down. The story will continue to be heavy in action and horror, with the plot moving along smoothly. But one thing to applaud is the tender moments between characters that find their way in the midst of all this.
