The Announcement of Season 7
At San Diego Comic-Con 2018, during the Star Wars: The Clone Wars 10th Anniversary, Dave Filoni announced that the animated series is returning to our televisions. The Clone Wars season 7 will comprise of 12 episodes which will be premiered on Disney+. Disney+ is now the exclusive home for all Star Wars TV shows.
About Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Star Wars: The Clone Wars was created by George Lucas which was first launched in 2008. It portrayed the adventures of Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Padmé Amidala and introduced some of the major new characters like Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex. The series also brought fan-favourite character, Darth Maul, back from the dead.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7
The Clone Wars series concluded after five seasons, just as Ahsoka left the Jedi Order. Post-season five episodes were launched as “The Lost Missions,” but the story was incomplete. Now, Dave Filoni will get a chance to complete that story.
Dave Filoni expressed his happiness saying, “I’m happy for the opportunity to define these things and the end of this part of the Clone War.”

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 will be released on Disney+ on February 21 of this year. This season will consist of 12 Episodes.
