‘Sherlock’ is a crime TV series created by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss. It is premiered on BBC Network and Netflix. The show features the detective stories of Sherlock Holmes. The story shows Sherlock who solves various mysteries related to crimes. Dr. John Watson, his friend who has just returned from military service assists, Sherlock.
After releasing its four seasons, it is now ready to come up with the release of its fifth season.
RELEASE DATE: When it will be airing?
There are rumors that Season 5 is coming up really soon. But it’s almost 3 years now, no news is there related to it. It is confirmed for the renewal for one more season. No official date of release is revealed till now.
The show can return around 2022 or 2023. Nothing is confirmed by Netflix or BBC.
CAST & CHARACTERS: Who all will be returning?
The main and regular characters will surely be returning. Sherlock Holmes played by Benedict Cumberbatch, Dr. John Watson played by Martin Freeman, Greg Lestrade played by Rupert Graves, Sian Brooke as Eurus Holmes and many more can be seen.
Some other new cast members can also be seen.
What can be the expected plot?
There is no trailer for the new season yet. It will release as soon as the date is finalized. We can’t tell what can happen in the upcoming season. Sherlock got to know about his sister Eurus Holmes in the Lying Detective episode. She has some psychotic disorders.
In an interview, Sian Brooke told that she loves the character of Eurus. She didn’t reveal whether she will be seen in the new season or not. Some other cast members also shared their plot ideas. It’s a mystery for all to know what could happen.
