‘Rising of the Shield Hero’ is a Japanese light novel series written by Aneko Yusagi. The story is about a teen named Naofumi Iwatani who was called into a parallel world along with 3 other youths from different parallel universes. They were summoned to become world’s Cardinal Heroes and fight against the monsters, Waves to protect his land.
This show spreads like fire and has gained popularity. Recently, the news has come for the release of Season 2. By this news, fans have already gone crazy and are eagerly waiting for it.
When will Season 2 be release?
The business producer of the show, Tamura has confirmed about the production of Season 2 as well as Season 3. The information for renewal was shared on Twitter on September 2, 2019.

Although the official date for release of Season 2 has not been confirmed by the makers yet, it is likely to air in the year 2021.
Cast and Characters: Who all will be seen?
The previous cast of Season 1 will again be featured. Billy Kametz for the voice of Naofumi Iwatani, Erica Mendez for Raphtalia, and Brianna for Filo will return. Some other supporting cast can also be seen.
There is possibility for the entry of some new anime characters.
What will happen in Season 2?
The show always follows the story of the novel. But in Season 1, they have not shown all the incidents according to the novel only. At the end of the last season, Naofumi has changed into a real hero. So, he decided to save other places also from the threat of Waves. The story of Season 2 might pick up its beginning from this point only. There are chances that Naofumi, Raphtalia and Filo will encounter a new enemy.
