Grandfather and grandson duo are all ready for the Halloween adventure

Adult Swim shows Rick and Morty have become one of the most loved and popular adult animation shows out there. The show is pretty popular due to its fanbase. Only just recently the show ended its fifth season a few weeks back. But fans won’t have to have any longer than they do to watch more new Rick and Morty. This is the month of October and also the month of Halloween. So, to add to the long list of spooky content that will be curated this month, Rick and Morty will come out with a Halloween special.

This Halloween will have something different in store for the fans other than an appearance from Scary Terry.  The series is on air for almost 9 years now but there are only five seasons at present. The creators of the show haven’t spilled any beans yet but the CN Schedules announced the release of the special.

The short movie will air on October 10th and it is titled “The Great Yokai Battle of Akihabara”. But from the title, it seems like they will battle Japanese mythological creatures Yokai, which translates to a ghoul, goblin, or spirit.

What else is scheduled on the day?

There is confirmation as to how long the short movie will be but it could be around 10-15 minutes. But no official synopsis of the episode has been released yet. Along with the short movies Fena: Pirate Princess, Batman Ninja, and Batman: Under the Red Hood are set to air on the same day.
