Cruel Intentions : The Famous 90s Flick is getting a Reboot at IMDb TV!

“Cruel Intentions” Reboot with a new Tv series

Looks like another reboot is in the works. This time the cake is taken by the popular 90’s teen romantic film series Cruel Intentions. It has been confirmed that IMDb TV is in the works. The series will be based on a film series of the same name. The original film series was adapted from the 1782 novel “Les Liaisons Dangereuses”. The first adaptation of the novel was made as a 1988 film Dangerous Liaisons.  The film series has three parts in it, starting from 1999 to 2004.

The movies starred a number of famous actors such as Sarah Michelle Geller, Selma Blair, Reese Witherspoon, and Ryan Phillipe. The original plot of the series follows the dangerous adventures among the wealthy high school teenagers in New York City.  The series will be taken over by Phoebe Fisher and Sarah Goodman who are also the creators of another upcoming Tv version of the 90s flick “I Know What You Did Last Summer” which will premiere on Amazon Prime.

Plot:

Unlike the last time this time, it won’t have any weird bet between the two siblings. The first attempt to revive the series was done in 2016. Which actually served as the next part for the movie series with Sarah Michelle Geller reprising her role but failed.

This time the series will have a plot that will follow two cold-hearted step-siblings in college who will do anything to stay on top. Here the story will be set in an elite Washington, D.C’s college. After an incident threatens the Panhellenic system, they will do anything to keep power in their hands. Even seduce the daughter of the Vice President of the United States.
