Quantum Leap, a sci-fi show that was rumoured to make a comeback a few months ago is now officially making a comeback. The rumours have now finally come true.

Quantum Leap, a show that everyone watched and loved, is going to make a comeback very soon. The NBC network, where the show premiered, has approved the sequel of the show and the show’s creators, with no delay, are moving forward with reboot of this NBC series.

Quantum Leap is an American science-fiction T.V. series that first aired in March of 1989. The show involves a physicist who is in the process of making a time machine. while the government threatens to withdraw their funding when no progress is made, the physicist, Dr. Sam Beckett tests his invention, the quantum leap accelerator, as a result he is sent back in time. This series bagged an 8.1 rating on IMDB and it will be no surprise for anyone when the sequel of this series airs.

A completely new bunch has been put together for the sequel has been put together for this new project. Scott Bakula, the actor who played Dr. Sam Beckett, will not be playing the role but has been made aware about the sequel of his show. The creators have discussed this with the former protagonist and they could be looking for ways to indulge him in their new project.

The pilot of Quantum Leap’s sequel was rumoured to be in the making back in September of 2021 and has been confirmed officially by NBC. Writers Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt would be the scriptwriters as well as executive producers for the Quantum Leap sequel.

In the final episode of the show that aired on 5th of May, 1993. The fans of the show could not be more excited for this sequel for what the creators have in store.
