Jenna Bush gave birth to a baby boy with husband Henry Hager, their third child this Friday.
Jenna Bush Hager, co-host of ‘The Today’ and daughter of former president George W. Bush, and husband Henry Hager are on cloud nine. Jenna and Henry, proud parents of two daughters, welcomed their baby boy on August 2nd at 09:02 am.
Her first son!
Weighing 7 pounds and 5 ounces and measuring 19.2 inches long at the time of birth, the baby boy is the couple’s first son and first grandson of the former American president.
Announcing the happy news to the world on Instagram on Monday, Jenna reveals that the couple has named their son ‘Henry Harlord “Hal” Hager.’ She shares that the baby boy is named ‘Henry’ after his Dad and paternal grandfather, and ‘Harlord’ comes from his maternal grandfather while his big sisters have their contribution in ‘Hal’ who already nicknamed him ‘Hal Pal.’

Jenna had announced about her pregnancy back in April to her co-anchors. She had divulged that the couple wasn’t trying to get pregnant, in actuality, as they had some fertility issues during the birth of their second daughter. So it was shocking but great news for them. And it was their girls, Mila and Poppy, who prompted them to share the news with everyone because they were doing it anyway with every stranger they met ever since they learned about the arrival of their younger sibling on Easter Sunday.
Overwhelmed with gratitude, Jenna had thanked everyone for their support and wishes before going on maternity leave, and how grateful she feels that they get to extend their family.

The whole family is thrilled with the arrival of the baby, especially the two doting sisters who can’t contain their joy. Describing their reactions, Jenna told on the phone to ‘Today’ that Mila and Poppy came and instantly picked their Hal Pal out from the nursery. They are crazy about him, thrilled to have a baby brother all of their own. They were more than anxious to take their baby brother home.
The entire Bush family had paid a visit to the new member of their family. Her sister was first to arrive with her husband, Craig Coyne, with a box of donuts which Jenna wasn’t supposed to eat after C-section but she still took a bite of it to celebrate the moment. The former president was little mad that his grandson wasn’t named after him, she tells jokingly.
