From the title of the article, you can clearly know that the ‘Preacher’ series has finally come to an end.
The season ended with its fourth and final one. For four-season, the show followed the wild-eyed quest of Dominic Cooper’s Jesse Cluster. The season ended literally killing most of the characters despite Cassidy’s assurance to Humperdoo that he looked “like a dead ringer for Gene Kelley”.
At the time when Tulip arrives on the scene, she and Cass fight brutally till their last breath to save the world by eliminating Humperedoo. The fighting scene is full of action. At last, Cass agrees with Tulip, and with the messiah’s blessing, he even puts a bullet in his head.
In the meantime, Featherstone, who has been disillusioned by Starr and having failed in her suicide attempt trains a gun on her boss. But, before the trigger can be pulled by her, he manages to distract her allowing him to get the drop on her. The saint defeats genesis’ parents and finally at the end gets Jesse.
The Saint of Killers takes typically a huge number of heads across the end of the world. After Killing Genesis’s parents, the saint was poised to kill Jesse but an eponymous Preacher suggests not to kill her. Instead, the saint allows Jesse to kill him.
As Jesse fights with the Saint, Tulip and Cassidy battle out, and an epic battle between Jesus and Adolf Hitler takes place, with the King of Kings leads the Nazi leader to die. Preacher ended its final season with its main character’s funeral. It was revealed that Tulip died after some years and had left a child who met Cassidy at the funeral.
