Monkey D. Luffy is the main protagonist and hero of the famous anime manga and series One Piece. He is also the founder and captain of Straw Hat Pirates the infamous and powerful crew. He is also among one of its top three fighters. Luffy is best friends with all the members of the group and values them.
At the very first glance, Luffy appears to be quite dumb among others around often taking things in lightly and in a childish manner. He had the thing to be easily impressed and be amazed by the simplest of things around. However, because he views the world in a straightforward and simple manner, he is occasionally the only person who can see past the events and see what should be done.
Luffy’s lifelong dream is to become the Pirate King. His thought to become the king is to find the legendary treasure that is left behind by the late Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. He also believes that being a Pirate King means achieving most of the freedom of the world.
Monkey D. Luffy has black shaggy hair and round black eyes. He has a slim muscular build type body. He is well renowned for his trademark straw hat which was given to him when he himself was a young lad by the legendary pirate captain, “Red-Haired” Shanks who himself received in his younger days from Gol D. Roger. He wears shorts, blue trousers with sandals, cuffs and a sleeveless red vest. Luffy also possesses a scar with two stitches underneath his left eye.
Luffy appears to have a relentless craving, a trademark that is basic to the Japanese prime example of the youthful male hero. The one who has a heart of gold may be the appetite all the more so for Luffy’s situation due to having a flexible stomach.
