Percy Jackson and Olympians: Rick Riordan brings you the sixth series of the book!!
Rick Riordan is one of the best-selling American authors’, best known for writing the Percy Jackson and Olympians series. His books are quite loved by the young readers. He even caught the attention of the producers, and they released a film on the adaptations of his first book and titled it ” Percy Jackson and Olympians: The Lightning Thief ” in 2010, but the viewers gave a very mixed response. Same happened with the second series of his book.
After the last series of his book, Riordan announces the release of the sixth series that is, “Percy Jackson and Olympians: The Chalice of Gods” on 18 Oct,2022 via a twitter tweet. The book is all set to release on September 26, 2023, in the coming year as Riordan mentioned in his tweet. He gave a little insight of the characters in his tweet. Have a look below:

Origin of the epic start to his writing journey
Riordan used to recite bedtime stories about Greek myth to his son Haley Riordan who was suffering from ADHD and dyslexia. His son was in second grade, and being a curious child, his father started making his own fictional characters. That was the time, when he decided to begin his writing career.
He wrote his first book and sold it to Miramax Books and earned enough money to quit his job and focus on writing. That was how an amazing author came into light. His books are translated up to 42 languages in the recent and are sold in more than 32 US states.
The series of his book “Percy Jackson and Olympians” are as follows:
- The Lightning Thief (2005)
- The Sea of Monsters (2006)
- The Titan’s Curse (2007)
- The Battle of the Labyrinth (2008)
- The Last Olympian (2009)
- The Chalice of the Gods (2023) [To be released.
Disney+ has also began production for the TV series of the book
Riordan was seen talking about the series in one of the videos in January. It is a great news for the young group of the country that the book will now also be available on screens. The TV series will feature Walker Scobell in the title role. It will release in 2024 as per reports.
“The wait is over, demigods,” Riordan said, “I am thrilled to be the first to tell you that Percy Jackson and the Olympians is really, truly, and for sure coming to your screens.”
He appreciated Scobell for his acting skills. “It was obvious to me and the rest of the team that Walker had the perfect mix of comedic timing, sweetness, rebelliousness, snark and heroism to embody our hero Percy Jackson”, Riordan added.
